Salut!

This is my blog (obviously), entitled “The Delightful Home” in French.  I chose that name for several reasons.  First, I love the French language, and I knew I wanted something in French.  Second, this blog will be devoted to all things related to the home – cooking, baking, decorating, memories, and especially the people who make up a home.  I’ll come at the whole people thing predominantly from a legal/sociological viewpoint, but this blog will also have a lot to do with my and Marty’s new lives as newlyweds and our adventures together.  And third, I chose the word ‘Delightful’ because my goal is to create a home that is a constant source of delight.  And to that end, here is one of my favorite pictures of Marty and I.  Every time I see it, it makes me a little bit happier, and hopefully it’ll make you happy too!
