Yesterday we (finally) got rid of the futon. It’s not that it’s a bad futon, it was just WAY too big for our little office. With it out of the way we were both amazed at how much space we now have. But we needed to put something in its place. So we put all the extra bookshelves we could find on the wall and moved our music corner (guitars, amp, keyboard, music, etc.) to the office from the living room. So the office is slowly being improved, and this particular step cost nothing. Still…
My dream is to one day get a set of bookshelves with cabinets at the bottom to fit all our office supplies into, and maybe even replace our old filing cabinet.

Unfortunately, as much as I love all of those rooms, our lease doesn’t permit us to change anything in our apartment. That, and this is my budget:
Oh well. One day I’ll have a fabulous library full of all my favorite books and a beautiful home office. Till then, I still have some pretty amazing desks and plenty of book storage. So all in all, not that bad off!
