Almost done with this 100th post, which is good because I’ve got a couple DIY/crafty projects I wanted to share with you guys.
This section is all about pets! One thing that I really want when we get a house and access to a yard is a puppy. I’m trying to convince my husband to buy one for me for graduation. I can always dream, right? So today I wanted to share with you some of the puppies that I think are cute. Granted, they aren’t all for me. I know that we won’t be able to have a very big dog (I’m not strong/assertive enough to control it) or one with a strong personality (again, not assertive enough and also not enough time to train a dog like that). So I know that I want a dog that only has to be walked once a day, will be fine if I let it romp around in the backyard, won’t kill other animals and bring them to me, doesn’t shed much, and isn’t a big barker. I think a peek-a-poo like my parents have would be perfect, but my husband says that he can’t handle having a dog that small. So right now I’m thinking about a Welsh Corgi or a greyhound. Either way, we’d rather adopt than breed. These are all things to think about if you’re serious about dogs, and there’s a ton more to consider too.
But enough with the jabber, and on to the pictures of what I think are the cutest dogs/puppies and one kitten:

Beagles! My sister and her fiance have one, and he's such a sweet and loyal dog

Cockapoo puppies are great; they're not big, they don't shed much, and their bark isn't very loud

Corgi! This is still my number one choice for a dog. From what I've read they're smart, easily trainable (which are two different things), they don't shed much, they're not big barkers, and they're great with other dogs and kids. Plus they're adorable!

Dalmations are fun dogs. When I was very little we had one, but it kept accidentally knocking my little sister down because it was too aggressive when it wanted to play. And, true story, we actually gave him to a farm!

This is a French Brittany puppy. I don't know much about them, but how cute are they?

Greyhounds are actually really low-maintenance dogs. We have friends who resued one, and they explained that all greyhounds really are supposed to be that skinny, and if you can't see their last three ribs, they're unhealthy. Apparently their skeleton just can't handle any fat at all! And it turns out that this big dog doesn't need to run a mile each day - bonus!

This is a blonde peek-a-poo puppy. My parents have a peek-a-poo, and I still refer to her as mine sometimes. She's the world's best dog, except she's a little dumb. She once ran away from a hamster

Little scottie puppies. Again, I don't know much about this breed, but I think they're adorable

And finally, a white lab. Although I don't have specific information for this breed, my best friend growing up had a couple of labs and they were great. They have a ton of energy, and they shed a lot, but you will never find a happier dog.

And now a kitten! I'm not a big cat person, I need the constant love and adoration that a dog gives, but my husbands family has calicos, and I really do love those little cats.
And that’s it for pets for me. Later today I will do my final 100th post – houses!!! Get excited!!! And tomorrow I’ve got some really cool stuff to show you. See you later!
Black River Bull Mastiffs…
Me too….
How cute is that beagle?
I like corgies too. Do you think they chase geese? We need a dog that will chase away the geese when they try to gather around the pond.
The “little cats” are now pretty hefty, each one weighing a little over 10 lbs. (Took them to the vet recently for their yearly check-up and shots.)
I love my corgi but she sheds a tremendous amount! She’s so lovable and affectionate. Very smart too. Worth the problem of shedding!
