Let there be light!

Good morning!

Today is kind of a gray and dreary day (totally my kind of day btw), and I’m here at the office under the fluorescent lights.  So naturally, I’m thinking about lighting.  Right?  That’s a pretty normal transition, right?

Anyway, once I started thinking about lights I realized that I kept thinking of a specific kind of light: the drum pendant.  It’s so pretty!  I like that it looks like a regular lamp, but the scale just gives it so much more oomph.  You can use it over a kitchen or dining room table, in a foyer, even in a closet.  Personally, I’d put a sheet of vellum or something (heat proof of course) on the bottom because I can’t stand staring at bare bulbs.  But that would be an easy-peesy addition I’m sure.

So now, without further ado, my favorite pendants – ranging in price from $40 to $240.

So, what do you think?  Would you ever use a drum pendant?  If they get too big, my husband is definitely in the “no” camp, but I think I could sway him if we saw one in person…
