It’s Wedding Wednesday time, hooray! This week I thought I’d start a series of weddings based on the signs of the zodiac. My mom and I were talking yesterday, and we came to the conclusion that I am 100% Pisces (even my name is a Pisces name, how fun is that?). Unsurprisingly, there were several Pisces elements in our wedding. We centered our cocktail hour around a giant fountain, my ring has emerald and aquamarine in it (the colors of the ocean), and of course there was a delicious fish dish! But why not go all out and design your wedding to coordinate with your sign?
Today’s board is about Aries, the first sign in the Zodiac. Aries is a fire sign, they tend to be very adventurous, persevering, and exotic. So why not try a destination wedding in an exotic place, maybe even Tahiti, and have a big beach bonfire at the reception. You could use a warm color palette (oranges, pinks, and reds) and use tons of wild orchids. In a way, orchids are a lot like an Aries person – exotic, innocent, unique, strong, and fragile.
For all you Aries out there, I hope you like this board!
